The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By those [angels] who extract with violence 1 and move [in their orbits] with steady motion, 2 And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming 3 Then outpace the others swiftly 4 Then arrange to do (the Commands of their Lord), 5 Upon the day when the first blast shivers 6 and will be followed by another quaking. 7 On that Day will [men's] hearts be throbbing, 8 while eyes will be downcast. 9 They say: shall we indeed be restored to the first state, 10 After having turned to carious bones?" 11 They say: “That will then be a return with a great loss!” 12 However, it will only take a single blast 13 and they will be upon the surface of the earth (alive). 14 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa! 15 when his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa, 16 'Go to Pharaoh; he has waxed insolent. 17 And say to him, "Would you like to reform yourself? 18 And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?'" 19 And he showed him the greatest sign, 20 But (the Pharaoh) disavowed and disobeyed. 21 Then he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). 22 So he gathered the people, and proclaimed. 23 Yet to a rich man, 24 So God seized him for the punishment of the Hereafter and this world. 25 Verily herein is lesson for him who feareth. 26
