The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
