And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 And grieve thou not over them nor be straitened because of that which they plot. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they reveal. 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 And most surely it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead listen and the deaf are unable to hear calls. Thus, they turn back on their heels. 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
