And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
