But the cautious shall live amongst gardens and fountains: 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said: Bring ye me good tidings (of a son) when old age hath overtaken me? Of what then can ye bring good tidings? 54 They replied: 'In truth we have given you glad tidings, do not be one of those who despair' 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 “Except his wife we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
