Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe? 30 We placed stabilisers in the earth so that as it revolved with them you lived undisturbed; and We provided passageways between them so that men may find their way; 31 We established the heaven as a well protected roof, yet they still turn away from its signs. 32 And He it is Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. They float, each in an orbit. 33 We have given no man everlastingness before you. So then if you die, will they live ever after? 34 Every soul will know the taste of death. We tempt you with evil and with good as a trial; and to Us you will return. 35 When the unbelievers behold thee, they take thee only for mockery: 'Ha, is this the one who makes mention of your gods?' Yet they in the Remembrance of the All-merciful are unbelievers. 36 The human was created of haste. Indeed, I will show you My signs; so do not ask Me to hasten them. 37 They say, "When shall the Day of Judgment come to pass if you are true in your claim?" 38 If those who disbelieved but knew the time when they will not be able to drive off the fire from their faces and from their backs, and they will not be helped! 39 It will overtake them suddenly, dumbfounding them. They shall be unable to ward it off, and they shall not be respited. 40 Indeed (many) Messengers were mocked before you (O Muhammad SAW), but the scoffers were surrounded by that, whereat they used to mock. 41
