Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
