BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 With spreading branches. 48 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 49 With two springs of water flowing through them both. -- 50 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 51 In both these is a pair of every fruit. 52 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 53 reclining upon couches lined with brocade, the fruits of the gardens nigh to gather -- 54 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 55 Therein are maidens of modest gaze, whom neither a man nor a jinn had ever touched before them. 56 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 57 As (lovely as) rubies and as (beautiful as) coral. 58 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness? 60 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides these two other gardens -- 62 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 63 Dark-green in colour (from plentiful watering). 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 In which will be two fountains gushing forth. 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- 68 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 71 They are houris (maidens of Paradise), hidden from view, in pavilions. 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 [companions] whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 74 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets. 76 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of thy Lord, majestic, splendid. 78
