۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 and that hour you are watching 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
