People (Al-Naas)

6 verses, revealed in Mecca after Daybreak (Al-Falaq) before Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I take refuge of the One Who is the Lord of all mankind.” 1 "the Sovereign of men, 2 "The Ilah (God) of mankind, 3 “From the evil of the one who instils evil thoughts in the hearts – and stays hidden.” 4 Who whispereth unto the breasts of mankind, 5 from jinn and men." 6

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
