Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
