The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the Terror descends 1 Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 becoming scattered dust, 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 Those on the right hand; how happy shall those on the right hand be! 8 And those on the left how (wretched) are those on the left! 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 These will be those nearest to Allah. 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 A number of people from those of old, 13 And a few of later ages, 14 On thrones decorated, 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 carrying goblets and ewers and cups filled with the purest wine, 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 And gorgeous eyed fair maidens. 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 And those on the right how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 Midst lote-trees thornless. 28 and banana trees, 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 And in perpetually flowing water. 31 And fruit abundant. 32 Neither ending nor forbidden. 33 And raised couches. 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 and made them virgins, 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
