Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And what ye see not, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 Had he invented sayings against Us, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 We certainly know that some of you have rejected it 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
