No! By the moon 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 who will be in Paradise 40 concerning the sinners, 41 "What has brought you into hell-fire?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
