THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
