The tree of Zaqqum 43 The food of the sinner! 44 Like molten brass; it will boil in their insides. 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 Then pour the punishment of boiling water over his head, 48 "Taste it," they will be told. "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 Surely this is what you disputed about. 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 among gardens and springs, 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 They will not taste death therein, save the first death. God will save them from the torment of Hell 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That is the supreme triumph. 57 And We have made (this Scripture) easy in thy language only that they may heed. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59
