▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 And remind (by preaching the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) for verily, the reminding profits the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
