(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 and covered them with torment. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 He (Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 So prostrate yourselves before God and worship him. ۩ 62
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
