Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 noble scribes 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 and the libertines shall be in a fiery furnace 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 to burn therein. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
