The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
