Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

(Muhammad), say, "I seek protection from the Lord of the Dawn 1 from the evil of what He has created, 2 From the evil of the darkness when it is intense, 3 And from the evil of the blowers in knots 4 And from the evil of an envier when he envies." 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
