The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
