The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 Do not be sorry for them, nor be distressed for what they devise. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 Say, "It may be that a part of what you would hasten on is close behind you." 72 "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks." 73 And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Verily this Qur'an recounteth with truth unto the Children of Isra'il much of that wherein they differ. 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear your call, when they turn their backs on it, 80 Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. 81 ۞ And when the Word (promise) appears upon them, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth to speak to them – because the people were not accepting faith in Our signs. (This beast will rise from the earth, when the Last Day draws near.) 82
