Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a warner and there is no Ilah (God) except Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) the One, the Irresistible, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
