۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
