The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
