The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
