The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 Would that you knew what hutamah is! 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 It will engulf them. 8 in columns outstretched. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
