A 'araaf (Al-A 'araaf)
206 verses, revealed in Mecca after S (Saad) before Jinns (Al-Jinn)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Alif-Laam-Meem-Saad. (Alphabets of the Arabic language; Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 (This is the) Book (the Quran) sent down unto you (O Muhammad SAW), so let not your breast be narrow therefrom, that you warn thereby, and a reminder unto the believers. 2 Follow, [O mankind], what has been revealed to you from your Lord and do not follow other than Him any allies. Little do you remember. 3 How many towns We have destroyed. Our scourge fell upon them by night or at midday when they were resting: 4 Yet their cry, when Our punishment came to them, was nothing but that they said: Surely we were unjust. 5 Then verily We shall question those unto whom (Our message) hath been sent, and verily We shall question the messengers. 6 We shall recount (their deeds) to them with knowledge, for We were never absent (and saw all they did). 7 And on that Day, the weighing will truly be done; so those whose scales prove heavy are the successful. 8 And those whose scales are light are the people who put themselves to ruin the recompense of the injustice they used to do to Our signs. 9 We assuredly established you in the earth and arranged for your livelihood in it. Little do you give thanks. 10

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
