Verily this is a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds: 192 The Trustworthy Spirit brought it down. (Angel Jibreel peace be upon him.) 193 Upon your heart, for you to convey warning. 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 And verily it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it? 197 If We had sent it down on a barbarian 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 We have thus caused denial of truth to enter into the hearts of the sinners: 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment; 201 It will come upon them unawares, and they will not comprehend it. 202 and then they will say: 'Shall we be respited' 203 Do they, then, [really] wish that Our chastisement be hastened on? 204 Therefore observe, that if We give them some comforts for some years, 205 and then the chastisement of which they were being warned were to come upon them, 206 of what avail will be the provisions of life which they have been granted to enjoy? 207 And never did We destroy a township which did not have Heralds of warning, 208 By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust. 209 Not by the Satans has it been brought down; 210 They are unworthy of it, nor can they do it. 211 indeed they are debarred from overhearing it. 212 So call thou not upon another god with God, lest thou shouldst be one of those that are chastised. 213 And warn thou thy clan, the nearest ones. 214 And lower thy wing (in kindness) unto those believers who follow thee. 215 And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing." 216 And rely upon (Allah) the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 and [sees] thy behaviour among those who prostrate themselves [before Him]: 219 Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 [And] shall I tell you upon whom it is that those evil spirits descend? 221 They descend upon every lying, sinful one, 222 who readily lend ear [to every falsehood,] and most of whom lie to others as well. 223 And the poets -- the perverse follow them; 224 Hast thou not seen how they stray in every valley, 225 and preaching what they themselves never practice. 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
