Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a warner and there is no Ilah (God) except Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) the One, the Irresistible, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
