▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
