Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
