And We have explained in this Qur’an in various ways, for them to understand; and it increases nothing except their hatred towards it. 41 (Muhammad), ask them, "Had there been many other gods besides Him, as they say, they should have found a way to the Lord of the Throne 42 Limitless is He in His glory, and sublimely, immeasurably exalted above anything that men may say [about Him] 43 The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein, glorify Him and there is not a thing but glorifies His Praise. But you understand not their glorification. Truly, He is Ever Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving. 44 When you recite the Quran, We place an invisible barrier between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter. 45 And We put covers over their hearts and deafness in their ears that they should not understand it. So when you invoke your Lord alone in the Qur'an they turn their backs and walk away. 46 We know best what they listen to when they listen to you, and when they take counsel secretly, when the unjust say: You follow only a man deprived of reason. 47 See the kind of examples they invent for you! They therefore strayed, so cannot find a path. 48 And they say: What! when we shall have become bones and decayed particles, shall we then certainly be raised up, being a new creation? 49 Say: 'Let you be stones or iron, 50 ۞ Or some created thing that is yet greater in your thoughts! Then they will say: Who shall bring us back (to life). Say: He Who created you at the first. Then will they shake their heads at thee, and say: When will it be? Say: It will perhaps be soon; 51 A day when He will call you and ye will answer with His praise, and ye will think that ye have tarried but a little while. 52
