And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
