Hizb 46

And Yunus was most surely of the apostles. 139 When he fled on the laden ship, 140 And then they cast lots, and he was the one who lost; 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 And had he not been of those who [even in the deep darkness of their distress are able to] extol God's limitless glory, 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We threw him on a wide bare tract of land while he was ill; 145 and We caused a pumpkin tree to grow over him. 146 Then We sent him to a hundred thousand or more, 147 And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. 148 AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Now surely it is of their own lie that they say: 151 " Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars. 152 “Has he chosen daughters instead of sons?” 153 What is the matter with you that you make such strange judgements? 154 Will you not then mind? 155 Or have ye a clear warrant? 156 Bring your Book, if what you say is true! 157 And they have invented a kinship between Him and the jinns, but the jinns know well that they have indeed to appear (before Him) (i.e. they will be brought for accounts). 158 Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the things they ascribe (to Him)! 159 Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]. 160 So you and your deities 161 Not against Him can you cause (any) to fall into trial, 162 Except the one who will go into the blazing fire. 163 (Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed; 164 And most surely we are they who draw themselves out in ranks, 165 Verily, we (angels), we are they who glorify (Allah's Praises i.e. perform prayers). 166 And indeed the disbelievers used to say, 167 Had we but an admonition as had the ancients. 168 we would have certainly been sincere servants of God". 169 But (now that the Quran has come) they disbelieve therein (i.e. in the Quran and in Prophet Muhammad SAW, and all that which he brought, the Divine Revelation), so they will come to know! 170 And, verily, Our Word has gone forth of old for Our slaves, the Messengers, 171 that they shall receive Our help 172 And that certainly Our armies will be victorious. 173 So turn thou from them for a while, 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 176 Then when it descendeth unto them face to face, a hapless morn that shall be for those who were warned. 177 And turn away from them for some time. 178 and see, soon they shall see! 179 Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. 180 And peace be upon all His message-bearers! 181 and praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
