Therefore proclaim thou the praises (of thy Lord): for by the Grace of thy Lord, thou art no (vulgar) soothsayer, nor art thou one possessed. 29 Or do they say, 'He is a poet for whom we await Fate's uncertainty'? 30 Say: 'Wait if you will; I shall be waiting with you' 31 Does their reasoning prompt them to this, or they are a people rebellious? 32 Do they say: 'He has invented it' No, they do not believe. 33 But then, [if they deem it the work of a mere mortal,] let them produce another discourse like it - if what they say be true! 34 Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]? 35 Or, did they create the heavens and the earth? No, their belief is not certain! 36 Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like? 37 Or do they have any stairs, climbing upon which they eavesdrop? So their eavesdropper should bring some clear proof! 38 Do the daughters belong to Him and the sons to you? 39 Or do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them, so they are burdened with the penalty? 40 Or do they have knowledge of the Unknown which they write down? 41 Or, do they desire to outwit? The unbelievers are the outwitted. 42 Or have they a god other than Allah? Exalted is Allah far above the things they associate with Him! 43 Were they to see a piece of the sky falling (on them), they would (only) say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 So leave them till they encounter their Day in which they shall be thunderstruck. 45 The day on which their struggle shall not avail them aught, nor shall they be helped. 46 For the harmdoers there is indeed, a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 And be patient under the Judgement of your Lord, surely, you are before Our Eyes. And exalt with the praise of your Lord when you arise, 48 And in the night-time also hymn His praise, and at the setting of the stars. 49
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
