The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
