The Key (Al-Faatehah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful 1

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) 4 It is You we worship and You we ask for help. 5 (Lord), guide us to the right path, 6 the path of those to whom You have granted blessings, those who are neither subject to Your anger nor have gone astray. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
