۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 they have enraged us, 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
