The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 Would that you understood what that crushing torment is like. 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 closed around them 8 in columns outstretched. 9
