"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 when they entered unto him, saying, 'Peace!' He said, 'Behold, we are afraid of you.' 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 He said: and who despondeth of the mercy of his Lord except the astray 56 He asked: 'Messengers, what is your errand' 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
