Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 And He it is Who made the night and the day to follow each other for him who desires to be mindful or desires to be thankful. 62 (Among) the servants of the Beneficent God are those who walk gently on the earth and when addressed by the ignorant ones, their only response is, "Peace be with you." 63 who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord: 64 And who submit, “Our Lord – avert the punishment of hell from us; indeed its punishment is a permanent neck-shackle.” 65 it is an evil abode and an evil resting place": 66 who, when they expend, are neither prodigal nor parsimonious, but between that is a just stand; 67 Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment. 68 and his torment shall be doubled on the Day of Resurrection, and he shall abide in a state of ignominy, 69 Except one who repents and accepts faith and does good deeds – so Allah will turn their evil deeds into virtues; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 and seeing that he who repents and [thenceforth] does what is right has truly turned unto God by [this very act of] repentance. 71 And those who do not give false testimony, and when they pass near some indecency, they pass by it saving their honour. 72 who do not behave like the blind and the deaf, when the Revelations of their Lord are recited to them for admonition; 73 and who pray "O our Sustainer! Grant that our spouses and our offspring be a joy to our eyes, and cause us to be foremost among those who are conscious of Thee!" 74 They will all receive Paradise as their reward for their forbearance and patience, where they will be greeted with, "Peace be with you." 75 Abiders therein: excellent it is as an abode and as a station. 76 Say: "My Lord is not concerned on your account if you do not pray to Him. You have surely done with denying; soon will come the inevitable judgement. 77
