The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 And those who recite the message, 3 Verily your God is One. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty, 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay. 11 Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock 12 And heed not when they are reminded, 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 And so also shall our forefathers of yore be raised to life?” 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 This is the Day of Judgment which ye were wont to belie. 21
