Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 But how are you to know? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
