Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 for your Lord will have commanded her (to do so). 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
