[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
