In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The Calamity! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 What will convey to you what this is like? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
