Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
