The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and drowned the others. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
